Re: Hurricane Katrina

From the Pastor: Due to the aftermath and lont-term cleanup of Katrina, services has resume. The church suffer little damage but we thank God. We pray for those of the effected area of this region and on the Gulf Coast and New Orleans.

I pray that Jesus will give favor to all of those residents, churches , businesses and etc. that was effected. Because we know that Jesus himself have a better plan for all of us. Be patience and serve the Lord.

New Mission A.O.H Church of God was founded and organized in the mid year of 1989 by Elder Daisy & Robert Dixon of Mobile, Alabama. New Mission A.O.H Church of God has a mission to serve and be of service to the people of God. New Mission A.O.H Church of God is pastored by Elder Gary D. Johnson, a man of God with no mean spirit and loves God People. Elder Johnson is an ordained Elder in the (A.O.H.) Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God, Inc. Elder Johnson believes that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that he is Lord of all. The A.O.H Church of God was founded by the late Bishop William T. Phillips of Mobile, Alabama in March of 1916. Today the A.O.H Church of God stands strong and in unity preaching and teaching Jesus. Our International Presiding Prelate is the Honorable Bishop George W. Ayers of Mobile, Alabama. We believe that there is One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism.

A.O.H Church of God has over 170 churches and growing in the U.S., and over 10 churches in the country of Africa. The A.O.H Church of God was founded by the late Bishop W.T. Phillips of Mobile, Alabama in March of 1916 on Adams Street (Adams Street Holiness Church). Currently Bishop G.W. Ayers serves as our International Presiding Prelate and Bishop John Matthews, Jr. of Dayton, OH serves as 1st Asst. Presider and Bishop Horace Johnson, Jr. of Hyattsville, MD serves as 2nd Asst. Presider.
